Purchasing off-plan typically requires assurances not commonly provided in the conventional property market – namely, that funds are released in conjunction with construction progress. Our milestone fund release protocol aims to embed this as a procedural requirement rather than a mere undertaking.

Protocol Overview

1 · Defined milestones. The project is broken down into quantifiable technical milestones: foundations, structure, final certification.

2 · Funds in escrow. Funds are held within a non-custodial 2-of-3 multisignature escrow account, overseen by a notary. Cuandeoro does not hold any client funds or control the associated cryptographic keys.

3 · Fund release upon verification of milestone completion. Each tranche is released only when documentary proof of the milestone has been uploaded and verified.

4 · External validation. The digital signature of an independent auditor — engaged directly by the parties — triggers the transfer of the associated tranche.
